South Africa as a Destination of Choice for International Dispute Resolution

South Africa is a land of dichotomies. Whilst being the commercial hub of the continent, and having what is widely regarded as the most advanced Constitution in the world, it battles with a high unemployment rate , rising fuel costs, instability relating to uninterrupted power supply and an exchange rate which sees the Rand frequently losing ground to major international currencies. The dichotomies become starker when examining how much has been achieved in a country that is only twenty years into its democracy, and is still reeling from the after effects of the former apartheid regime.
